Our History
Kitsune-Gari was opened in 1988 by Alf Walker in the Marconi Sports and Social Club on Fox Hunter Drive. As Marconi invented the Fox Hunter Navigation System, Kitsune-Gari was a fitting name, given that it translates to Hunt the Fox, or Fox Hunting.
Since then we have been a prominent Judo Club, and PreCovid we were one of the biggest clubs between London and Leicester!
We have produced many National and International Judoka, from Novice to Dan Grade, and our Judoka have earned more competitive medals than we could ever begin to count.
